6 easy miles on the treadmill since I had to come home early to watch Nathan since he is sick. I started off at 7 mph then each mile increased the speed by 0.2mph & had the 2x4" under the back to get my downhill running for the week. Overall I felt really good and was barely breathing until the last mile. The last 400 I picked it up to 8.4mph to get a little kick at the end.

Are you training with your running group for Boston?

From LeMire on Thu, Jan 29, 2015 at 12:45:59 from 67.213.174.99

Yes I am running with the same group on Saturday mornings and have been for the past few weeks except this past in which we went to South Dakota. So far I'm on pace with the same schedule and almost the exact mileage 4 weeks into my training program even though the miles I have ran overall are quite a bit faster. I already have 1 16 miler at 7:21 average pace. Now that the mile is over I'm trying to shift back into the Boston schedule with pace runs, hills and so forth. Looks like your training is going pretty well for Phoenix just make sure you don't go out to fast at the start.
