5 miles on the treadmill this morning, downhill. Just took an easy recovery pace. My legs were a little tired & sore.

When I was in Flagstaff this weekend I went to a running store and tried on some Hokas. Unfortunately they didn't have my size. The 9 1/2 was too small and the 10 1/2 too big and they were out of 10s. I wanted to see how they felt. Oh well, I ended up buying a pair of Adidas Adios Boosts. I'll try them out on a run later this week. I hope you're staying healthy.

My legs are holding up good with no signs of shin splints this go around. 1.5 weeks left of training left then its rest and travel time. Can't wait to wear shorts all weekend again. Hope it's cool race morning though. Do you have a weather forcast?

It's too far out for a weather forecast, but it sure has been warmer than usual. I sure hope some sort of cold front blows in for race day.
